Bishop Katrina's Story

Life Paise the Lord to the Class of 1984. I pray that all is well and that God has Blessed You Abundantly. I am going to give you a testimony of God's Grace and Mercy towards me and His sustaining power. I was married in 1994 to Anthony Walker. We lost our first baby in 1995. In 1996 we had a premature son at 25 weeks gestation (6 mth) at Georgetown Hospital. He weighed 2 pounds and was 13 1/2 inches long. He was the size of the Toy Story Doll character named Woody. Go to any toy store and look at that doll and that is the actul size and width that he was. I delivered him by C-section. I myself was dieing. I had E-Coli. I had a only 30 percent chance of living. They said that Aaron would not, walk, talk, see, hear, he was paralized on his left side, blood and fluid on the brain, colapsed lung, high heart rate, low heart rate, that he would be retarded, and that he would not live beyond 4 days. But God's Mercy stepped in, and He Kept Me. On the 67th day of Aaron's life, we brought him home on 12 different medications. Aaron LaMar Walker will be 11 years old this September the 8th. Aaron has a baby brother named Caleb Emmanuel Walker born Sept. 27, 1999. He was born full term but he was born with double pnemonia in both lungs and died five times and God had Mercy on him and Caleb will be 8 years old. My husband and I were the same age when we got married. We were married for 7 years and 7 months. My husband went home to be with the Lord at 35, Christmas 2001. He died of cancer. He had multiple myeloma plasma cell lukiemiah. That's Cancer o...Expand for more
f the blood and bone marrow. My boys were 5 years old and 2 years old when he died. But God Kept Me. One year after the death of their father, Aaron had major surgery on his head twice in one month at age 6. He has a VP Shunt in the brain. But God Kept Me. Aaron is a living testimony of Jesus Healing Power. Today I am a witness to what God can do. Two years after the death of my husband, I was ordained in the Office of the Pastor Aug. 3, 2003. In Feb. 2004, I founded Christ Covenant Church, International and went full time into the Ministry. December 3, 2006, I was ordained in the office of a Bishop, Senior Overseer of Christ Covenant International. God knew that I could not have preached a message of hope if I have never been in a position of need. I share a church building (Fruit of The Spirit) with another Pastor. My services are at 4:00pm on Sundays, until God provides for us to have our own building. Just in case you are in the area we are located at 4311 Sherrif Road N.E. Washington D.C. I leave you with this, Galatians 6:9 "Let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." And Philippians 3:13-14, "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."
